Do you know what your company’s plan is for its used equipment in 2021?

January is a great month for asset management planning, and here at Minnesota Computers for Schools we want to help you with IT asset management.
We guarantee that all of your data will be destroyed. MCFS is NAID certified, which means we have the highest standards when it comes to data destruction. Upon pick up, we maintain a secure chain of custody, staff who handle hard drives are NAID certified and complete background tests, and equipment is under 24/7 camera surveillance in our secure facility. We also provide a certificate of destruction for all donations. In the 23 years since our organization has been in operation, we haven’t had a single data breach.
We responsibly recycle any equipment that cannot be reused. MCFS is R2 certified, which means that we responsibly recycle tech that doesn’t live up to performance standards. Sustainability is at the heart of our mission and we undergo thorough auditing of our processes and procedures every year to ensure that we protect the environment.
A donation to us helps students in need. We refurbish equipment and place it in schools and nonprofits, as well as in the homes of students in need. And, we back up the computers we place with a 1-3 year warranty and tech support. In 2020 we placed 5,752 computers in Minnesota. A donation to MCFS extends the life of your used tech and makes a difference in the lives of students, all while keeping technology out of the landfill.
