As the year comes to a close, we’re focusing on creating connections. In addition to raising money to fund computers for students who need them, we are engaging with the community in meaningful ways to help build digital equity in Minnesota.
Technology access and skills are essential in today’s modern world. By providing access to technology, we empower students and individuals who want to invest in their future.
Donate Money: On Give to the Max Day, we are aiming to raise $9,000 to fund laptops for 60 students through our Tech Connect program. $150 funds a laptop for a student, which includes refurbishing, new software, and a warranty.
Donate your Used Tech: On Giving Tuesday we’re hosting a technology donation drive, in partnership with Surly Brewing. Stop by our warehouse on November 30th from 11 am-6 pm and donate your used computer equipment. Every person who donates a computer will get a coupon for a free beer at the Surly beer hall, which opens at 3 pm that day.
Donate your time: We’re recruiting volunteers through the end of the year. Our volunteers help refurbish and recycle donated computers and play a big role in helping us get computers into the hands of people who need them. Click here to learn more about individual and group volunteer opportunities.
Together we can create digital equity in Minnesota.
