Equipment Donations Needed for Minnesota Schools

OurWork

Memorial Day weekend is upon us and that means summer is just weeks away. As schools move into the summer season, many of them are working to upgrade their computer labs for the new school year. Many schools can’t afford to purchase brand new computer systems – that’s where we come in. Purchasing through MCFS allows schools to buy three computers for the price of one – complete with a warranty and tech support. Orders have been piling up over the past few weeks and in order to meet the demands of schools throughout the state, we need your help.

Companies can maximize the value of its end-of-life technology by donating it to MCFS.  There is no cost associated with donating equipment and we’ll gladly take working and non-working technology. The non-working equipment will either be repaired or recycled and the working equipment will be customized for a school’s needs.

Data Security
Each hard drive received goes through a rigorous scrubbing process using WipeDrive Enterprise, a Department of Defense and HIPAA approved wiping tool, and all equipment is kept in a secured area. We are able to provide all donors with a donation receipt and are happy to work with donors on any necessary contracts or agreements.

Environmentally Conscious
MCFS is R2 and ISO 14001:2004 certified, assuring our equipment donors that we are a trusted partner for secure information destruction and recycling of end-of-life electronics. Any equipment that cannot be refurbished is recycled.
