A Look Back at 2012

2012 was a year of growth for MCFS and we can’t begin to express our gratitude to every single donor, partner and supporter for your help in working to close the digital divide in Minnesota. With your help, we are able to provide high-quality technology and support to schools, the community and educational nonprofits throughout the state.

In 2012 we:

  • Placed 4,024 computers in schools and educational nonprofits throughout the state, giving increased access to 289,728 students.
  • Employed and taught 101 inmates at the Stillwater Correctional Facility transferable, on-the-job technology skills.
  • Recycled 244,601 pounds of computer waste.

Check out the annual report below to see just how the 4,024 computers changed the lives of thousands of students in Minnesota.
