A look at the year ahead
As we look ahead into 2021, we are excited to share what we have in store! 2020 didn’t end up like any of us had thought– but with light at the end of the tunnel with regards to Covid-19, we’re cautiously optimistic that we will be able to meet in person with people again.
We have some exciting programming updates this year. For our Core: IT program, we’re planning to kick off a CCNA course via Cisco and a networking certification. We’re are also bringing back a HTML5 & CSS class along with an advanced web design course. And we’re starting the conversation with partners to look at additional training focus areas such as program management. We want to do our best to serve people in all areas, including employee growth. A shout out to our instructors for pivoting their courses to online during the pandemic!
We’re hoping to kick off our volunteer program again in the second half of 2021. The best public health guidelines will determine when this program opens back up, but needless to say we are looking forward to working with volunteers in person again. We’ve missed you!
As many of you know, our organization has changed and grown since it was established in 1997. We’re working on a rebrand that better reflects our organization as it exists today, and where we’re hoping to go. Responding to the needs of our various communities is important to us, and we’re getting ready for a rebrand launch this spring.
We’re on a mission to provide digital equity to students across Minnesota, and we’re excited for what the rest of the year will bring.
