Save the Date: The Joy of Learning

We are thrilled to announce that our 2014 annual event, The Joy of Learning, is set for March 20, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. Our friends are Travelers are gracious enough to host the event again this year and we’re hoping that you can join us for an evening of inspiring stories, live music, a silent auction and, of course, delicious food.

The purpose of the event is to get together to celebrate the lives impacted in 2013 and to raise awareness of the need to close the digital divide in Minnesota. Our goal is to make sure every child in Minnesota has access to a computer so they can develop the necessary skills for success in school and the workforce. We’re still looking for partners to sponsor the event to help us make that happen. All of the money raised will go directly to providing technology solutions and skills training to individuals in need.

If you have questions about the event, please contact Katie Olson at kaitlin.olson@state.mn.us.
