Put your company’s replaced equipment to use in Minnesota schools
Today, the price of not having access to technology is much higher than it was just five years ago. Not having access is a reason some students struggle in school and can’t find work – leaving them feeling defeated and left behind. Now, more than ever, schools need access to affordable technology.
MCFS gladly accepts computer technology donations from any business or organization. We take in a variety of equipment including computer towers and desktops, laptops, CRT monitors and LCD flat screens. Learn more about how your company can help provide students in Minnesota with access to technology.
How the Process Works: MCFS hires and trains inmates at the Stillwater Correctional Facility to recycle and refurbish donated equipment. The refurbished computers are placed in schools and educational nonprofits throughout the state. Learn more about donating.
Data Security: MCFS uses WipeDrive Enterprise, a Department of Defense approved wiping tool, for data sanitization and destruction.
Environmentally Conscious Recycling: MCFS is committed to environmentally safe practices and is R2 (Responsible Recycling), ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified. Learn more.
