STEM

Supporting Education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math

Science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers are crucial to the success and economic development of Minnesota. Unfortunately, the number of individuals retiring from STEM-related careers is surpassing the number of students studying and preparing for a career in STEM fields.

STEM

MCFS is proud to work with multiple schools that are working to ignite their student’s interest in STEM-related fields.

Atomsmith® Chemistry Simulation Labs: MCFS provides teachers with computers and Atomsmith® software – a unique interactive science program that brings molecular science concepts to life. Atomsmith® chemistry simulation labs enable teachers to make their instruction more clear, powerful and engaging, thereby helping students’ comprehension and retention of the subject.

Robotics and LEGO Leagues: MCFS supports Robotics and LEGO League teams with laptops required to run FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology)-supplied software programs.

Computers for Classrooms: In partnership with the Minnesota High Tech Association and its ACE Alumni, MCFS awards technology to STEM educators who demonstrate innovation and leadership in the classroom. Lean more and apply.
