MCFS operates under the principle that all students deserve equal access to the technology necessary to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence required for success in school, the community and the workforce.

In addition to working to equip schools and educational nonprofits with their technology needs, MCFS places special focus in a few key areas.
Computers for Classrooms: Through our computer donation and recycling program, we provide no to low-cost computers to schools and educational nonprofits.
CORE: IT: Our free technology workforce training program provides students with general computer literacy skills and credentials that lead to careers in networking, security, software technology, or hardware support. Learn more.
MCFS Internship: Graduates of our CORE: IT program have the opportunity to apply for a paid 6-month internship at MCFS where they will put their new skills to use and continue to immerse themselves in the world of technology.
Tech for Teens: During our in-school and extended day classes or summer camps, at-risk youth are encouraged to explore the world of technology through exciting courses like Game Coding and Design and Web Design and Development and App Design.
Lifelong Learners: Assists students who are frequently absent or experience significant difficulties in the classroom due to chronic illness or special needs. MCFS places computer equipment with program participants to help them stay engaged in their classes from home and succeed in school. Learn more
