MCFS operates under the principle that all students deserve equal access to the technology necessary to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence required for success in school, the community and the workforce.
In addition to working to equip schools and educational nonprofits with their technology needs, MCFS places special focus in a few key areas.
Academic Incentive Initiatives: MCFS works with schools that serve at-risk students to provide computers to motivate higher attendance rates as well as participation and performance in the classroom. Learn more.
Lifelong Learners: Lifelong Learners assists individuals who are in need of a computer at home and are not able to afford the cost of the equipment. The program is designed for students – elementary school to adult learners – who are currently enrolled in a school program as well as adults who need regular access to a computer to aid in job search. STEM Education: MCFS provides science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) teachers with computers, software and training for interactive science education. Learn more.
