The past couple of years, we’ve been partnering with Ecolab to provide laptops to the students at Humboldt High School with the best academic performance or improvement at the end of the school year.
Today we were able to attend the ceremony where 130 students, 20 from each grade, were awarded laptops. At a school where many students face low income and language barriers, owning a personal laptop can make a big difference in their education.
Having access to a computer at home doesn’t just help students complete homework. It allows them to build general computer proficiency – a necessary skill for school and career success, helps increase self esteem, teaches critical thinking and empowers them to embrace technology and develop the skills they need for future success.
Thank you to our friends at Ecolab who give us the ability to provide laptops to students in need.
